Our Partners

The APDC is dedicated to its mission of increasing commerce, but it also capitalizes on making opportunities to market the Port and to partner with the region to be a good neighbor on the water and to boost and benefit the regional economy. The Port collaborates with regional partners to achieve this goal. Partnership comes in various forms, whether it’s being an investor, collaborator, member, sponsor, representative or other role, the Port is an active participant in many local and regional entities, including but not limited to the following organizations.

The Port is also an active partner in critical maritime and logistics related organizations on a state and national level. The Port of Albany belongs to the American Association of Port Authorities, BIMCO (the Baltic and International Maritime Council), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Green Marine, the North Atlantic Ports Association, Railway Industrial Clearance Association (RICA) and is a member of the Board of Commissioners of Pilots of the State of New York.
