Port of Albany CEO Hendrick named to Foundation for Seaports of the Americas Board
(October 15, 2025) Port of Albany CEO Richard J. Hendrick, Sr. was elected to the Board of Directors for the American Association of Port Authorities’ (AAPA) Foundation for Seaports of the Americas for a two-year term.
The Port of Albany celebrates World Photography Day 2025
(September 2, 2025) Fifty photos that were submitted by Port staff members were posted to the Port's social media channels in honor of World Photography Day (August 19).
Port of Albany releases RFP for Wharf Infrastructure Upgrades
(August 28. 2025) The project is to upgrade the on-dock rail and strengthen the surrounding and encompassing wharf deck infrastructure. The total linear footage of wharf to be rehabilitated is approximately 1160 LF, with a total rail track replacement of approximately 930 LF.

Hendrick recently joined the Board of Directors of the Seafarers International House NYC and CFO Christine Stuto recently accepted a seat on the Board of Trustees of the Foundation of St. Catherine’s Center for Children and as the representative for New York/Northern New Jersey on the Board of Directors for the North Atlantic Ports Association.
Port of Albany receives Green Marine recertification for environmental sustainability efforts
